Detection of toxoplasmosis in (Free living and Industrial) chicken of Qadisiyah province, Iraq

The study aimed to investigate the differences in genetic tree of types infected (Free living and Industrial chickens) with Toxoplasma parasite, (brain liver) collecting samples Al-Qadisiyah province during period from October 2021 until end March 2022. A total 90 chicken were collected, 60 brain 30 liver. purpose diagnosis, impression method was used. It found that free chickens all positive for examination. As industrial chickens, 20 at rate 88.8%, (83.3%) 50/60 (66.6%) 20/30 Nested PCR targeting aspecific region within SAG3 gene technique applied detect genotype T.gondii, results showed 30/48 (62.5%) positive. match between gondii isolates according NCBI – BLAST.
